Payment Terms & Taxation
Orders submitted to Storage & Canopy Inc. are processed subject to payment verification and acceptance:
- Accepted Methods: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, corporate checks, and wire transfers.
- Check Clearance: Orders paid via check or wire order will be scheduled for warehouse dispatch only after funds have fully cleared our bank.
- Sales Tax Compliance: Applicable state and local sales tax (including standard 7.5% sales tax where applicable) will be collected unless a valid resale or tax-exemption certificate is provided prior to purchase.
Shipping, Freight & Delivery
Because our products consist of heavy industrial materials (such as Q215 galvanized steel and heavy PVC fabric), delivery is fulfilled via third-party freight carriers:
- Fulfillment Lead Times: Standard in-stock inventory dispatches within 3–7 business days. Custom units require an estimated lead time of 3–4 months.
- Offloading Requirement: Customers are solely responsible for providing equipment (e.g., forklift, crane) to offload heavy flatbeds or freight trucks at the destination.
- Freight Inspection: All freight must be thoroughly inspected upon arrival. Any missing parts or transit damages must be noted directly on the carrier’s Bill of Lading (BOL).
Notice: Missing parts or freight damage claims must be formally submitted in writing to Storage & Canopy Inc. within ten (10) calendar days of delivery receipt.
Returns, Refunds, & Cancellations
We stand behind our materials while maintaining standard industrial inventory terms:
- Standard Returns: Unused standard products in pristine original condition may be returned within seven (7) calendar days of delivery.
- In-Stock Restocking Fee: Orders canceled prior to dispatch are subject to a 13.5% administrative fee.
- Backorder Cancellations: Out-of-stock orders canceled prior to warehouse arrival incur a 3.5% cancellation fee.
- Custom Orders: Custom-engineered or special-order structures are non-refundable once production or transit has commenced.
Limited Warranty & Exclusions
Storage & Canopy structures are built to withstand severe weather when properly anchored according to engineering parameters.
- Assembly & Anchoring:Warranty coverage is contingent upon correct assembly and proper anchoring on approved surfaces.
- Environmental Forces: Damages resulting from extreme acts of nature, severe storms, or wind/snow loads exceeding specific model ratings are excluded from liability.
- Consequential Losses: Storage & Canopy Inc. is not liable for indirect or operational damages, including downtime, vehicle rental expenses, or crop losses.
Privacy & Data Security
- Confidentiality:We do not sell, rent, or lease customer details to third parties.
- SMS Consent: Mobile numbers provided for shipment updates and freight tracking will never be shared with third-party marketing networks.
